Opening Party -Variations on Benjamin Patterson

Embedded within the social and theater spaces of Casa Del Popolo, Benjamin Patterson: REMIX will showcase ephemera, video projections, and sound-works from the Benjamin Patterson Archive (Hamburg). This presentation provides insights into Patterson's innovative compositional technique of blending diverse art forms within his acoustic and electronic musicology. By emphasizing interactivity, the archival showcase at Casa Del Popolo serves as a gateway to Patterson's thematic explorations, inviting participants to delve into the intersection of art and society, aligning with Patterson's ethos of challenging conventions and sparking critical conversations within the public sphere.

A 30-minute set of Patterson reinterpretations by Malcolm Goldstein and James Goddard.

DJ Christof Migone will spin FLUXUS music from his extensive collection from 7pm - 10pm. Selected drinks from “Cocktails Chez Ben” (2003), a cocktail performance for bars developed by Patterson, will be served at the Casa Del Popolo bar.
