Jean-Philippe Audin
Jean-Philippe Audin is a composer, arranger, and orchestrator with a rich and varied international career in Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia. He studied cello with André Navarra and composition with Franco Donatoni and Giuseppe Sinopoli. He has been a member of various music groups such as Pandemonium and String Swing System and has given numerous concerts playing J.S. Bach's complete Suites for solo cello. He is also the creator of contemporary solo works and co-founder of the Actuels quartet. Additionally, he has written arrangements for artists such as Iggy Pop, Johnny Depp, and Yaël Naïm. He developed the "videocello," an instrument that allows him to play music while real-time images are projected, and he founded the multimedia group MOVIESONIC. In 2008, he rewrote and conducted the first concert version of the music from the Twin Peaks series in collaboration with David Lynch.
