Ghislain Leclant
Ghislain Leclant, a Paris-born musician, moved to Montreal in 2003 to study music composition and film scoring. Since then, he has composed music for more than 20 short films, documentaries, and commercials, many of which have been screened at international film festivals. Leclant has also produced and arranged for various Montreal-based bands and written for classical and contemporary music ensembles. He has explored immersive sound through projects for the Society for the Arts and Technology in Montreal and collaborated with Ubisoft and Warner Games on video game music. In 2013, he moved to Paris but continued to work in Montreal. In France, he participated in the Aubagne Film Festival's Film Music Masterclass and scored several short films. Recently, he composed music for the 360-degree documentary "Lights in the Night" and won the TRIO 2016 program from the Maison du Film Court.
