The Lots of Love (LOL) Festival is an outdoor contemporary performance event rooted in a DIY, anti-institutional ethos. Created as a community-driven alternative to large festivals, it has been curated since 2021 by Sasha Kleinplatz, Liliane Moussa, Emile Pineault, and Sarah Williams. The festival features a series of performances in unconventional spaces such as backyards, garages, parks, or basketball courts. It brings together artists from diverse backgrounds and generations. Its curatorial approach emphasizes relinquishing control, fostering radical trust, and amplifying community voices, creating an inclusive and collaborative environment that prioritizes experimentation and accessibility.
