Two participants at a time will come into a circle of drums, software will convert the heart-rate data into pulses that trigger the motors to hit the drums. Over a few minutes, while the participants listen to the beating bass drums, their heart rates should slowly synchronize, influenced by each other’s rhythms.

This installation completes the trilogy on evolution strategies. It premiered at the Made in Cloister Foundation in Naples, Italy in December 2022.
