SPORUS
SPORUS is a punk rock and metal band with an experimental approach originating in Victoria, BC in 2016, now based in Vancouver, BC as of 2023. The band derived its name from an intriguing historical source, choosing "SPORUS" as a homage to the ancient Roman puer delicatus – a young boy named SPORUS who underwent castration and was subsequently wedded to Emperor Nero. The trio comprises Wren on bass and vocals, Natalia on drums and Brennain on guitar.
