IWant2BeOnTV
IWant2BeOnTV is a collective founded by Alex Apostolidis in 2021 that hosts hybrid participatory performance, theatre and concerts that result in video pieces that honour public access cable television with a queer and DIY ethos at the forefront. The works challenge hegemonic power structures through comedy, deviancy and community. In 2025, IWant2BeOnTV is headed by Alex Apostolidis and Charvel Rappos and will be hosting performances at Lawnya Vawnya (St. John’s, NFLD) and Suoni Per Il Popolo (Montreal, QC). Apostolidis and Rappos are musicians, performers and visual artists based in Montreal, QC. The two will be on tour throughout Atlantic Canada showing these video works from May 27th, 2025 until June 12th, 2025. The two artists will be collaborating on a live performance, “Food Fight” for the Lawnya Vawnya Music Festival, which will be additionally live streamed online and at multiple locations across Canada.
