Fraud Perry is the alternative Pop and Hip-hop project of Montreal based Haitian-Canadian multi-disciplinary artist Melinda Massolas. Massolas credits her genreless exploration to her
desire to explore and create space for all the different facets of herself. “Coming from a past of emotional suppression and compartmentalization in order to survive my now in physical safety, I use music as the place to express my feelings to their depth and understand myself through the repetition found in creation and performance.” Heavily inspired by the power and rhythm of Punk, Dance, and Hip-hop Perry pairs it well with lyrical depth, smoothness, and the catchiness of Pop, alternative RnB, and Indie rock.
