EASE
Éloïse ‘EASE‘ Caza is a multidisciplinary artist whose main focuses are street dance, jewellery making and nail art. She is a Franco-Ontarian and moved to Montreal in 2010 to pursue her studies in Communication and History of Art at Université de Montreal. She has been dancing since a young age, starting in ballet and jazz and has since transitioned to street styles, specifically in W(h/a)acking and Hip-Hop. She was the winner of the International W(h/a)acking battle HOTMESS in MTL, in 2022, as well as being a finalist at Waack To the Future in NYC, in 2023. She was invited to Redbull Dance your Style in Toronto as a guest in Oct 2024. She was a member of the W(h/a)acking collective Asymmetry under the direction of Munezero from 2018-2020, preforming in various productions. Most recently, she performed in Dominique Sarrazin's "Shitshow!" in 2023, presented at Tangente. She finished a jewellery program at EMSOM trade school, in 2022 and is self-taught nail artist/technician.
In 2024, she organized a community Pop-up Market, called “Creatives Are as Creatives Do”, for member of the Street/Club Dance community as a way to expose, encourage and support those who own businesses and have various art endeavors like herself.
Éloïse is devoted to expanding her knowledge of Hip Hop and Club culture and is invested in her community. With dance as her priority, she continues to develop her practice by taking every opportunity that enables her to sharpen and maintain her skills. Doing things with EASE takes diligence and that’s how she goes about her artistic practices.
