S. Ayton plays loud and tender queer bedroom grit, songs built on striking fine balances between rough and soft and processes/processing. Sarah is a real person and her songs remind you that you are, too. Layered guitar, honest and forward vocals, and a desire to be present together in the small and weird and complicated spaces we share. She is a sound engineer, co-director of the Forever Chorus, and working on an album to be released later this year. She lives in Tio'tia:ke/Montreal.
