Sonido Pesao
Sonido Pesao is a Montreal-based Latin Urban/Latin Rap group. The collective, born in 2006 and previously named Heavy Soundz, now assumes its full shock potential, not only by having translated its name to Spanish but by constantly reinventing itself around the duo's explosive mix: Chele (Ronald Lemus Barrientos, originally from El Salvador) and Lunatico (Marco-Antonio Abal Aguilar, a Quebecer of Guatemalan origin), the true core of the group. Nevertheless, depending on the needs and in full accordance with their contagious enthusiasm, Sonido Pesao can be formed as a duo, trio, quartet or variable group. Their compositions energetically mix urban music, rap and electronic music from Montreal's urban underground scene, all supported by Latin rhythms.
